The Stamford Public School System has as of 2008 some whopping 15,000 students in public schools. The school situation is ..., well, there is room for improvement, and there are private schools. Spend a day on the beach with your kids! The best beach is at Cove Island Park, then West Beach Park. You'll need a beach sticker to park your car there. Check out the Stamford Nature Center, or go on one of the beautiful trails at the Arboretum.
